How To Design A Green Roof/Wall - and why you should

  • Krumville Community Meeting House 1242 County Rd. 2 Olivebridge United States (map)

Green roofs and walls offer a wide range of benefits, encompassing environmental, economic, and social aspects. They provide insulation, manage stormwater runoff, enhance biodiversity, extend the lifespan of roofing materials, provide energy savings, increase property values and look beautiful.

Taught by Nicholas DePalma, owner and operator of Hudson Valley Green Roofs, the only green roof specialist based in the Hudson Valley. They prioritize residential scale installations, but are also working at the local commercial scale. With over a decade of experience in the construction, farming, and landscaping fields, Nicholas formed HVGreen Roofs to fill a local need for sustainable, planted roofing installation, design, and maintenance.
